What do you think is the most valuable or most treasured piece in the Hall of Fame?

That's a hard one to figure as they are all treasures.

For me it would probably be John Philip Sousa's Ithaca.

What a nice piece of history.

And along with it goes a value beyond imagination. So many various groups and individuals would love to own this piece, from Sousa collectors to trap memorabelia collectors, and all those in between.

I think that the Hall of Fame has John Phillip Sousa's L.C Smith.

For me it would have to be the allure of J A R Elliott. His Winchester 97 pigeon grade shotgun and all the great trophies and medals won for his live bird matches.

I hate to say anything that isn't correct, so I did a little checking to verify J.P. Sousa's gun manufacturer that is in the HOF.

It is indeed his Ithaca 4E Sousa Grade..Reportedly one of only 7 made that are known.

But like I said, to me everything is a treasure out there. I am just partial to J.P. Sousa.

    Thanks, Dave in SC
