Norbert Nau, coach from Gering, Nebraska was traveling I-70 on August 4 on their way to the Grand American with five STCP shooters when they notices their motorhome panel indicated fire in engine. They were west of Columbia, Missouri at mile maker #103 when they pulled off interstate to check out the problem. They discovered the motorhome was on fire. Fire department was called, but the motorhome was completely distroyed. They were able to get the vehicle off the back of motorhome along with the guns( not before damagae was done to the gun cases) out of the storage compartment under the motorhome. All other things were distroyed including 27 flats of shells plus all their clothing, money, and food for the trip. When shooters at the Grand hear of the accident they all gathered together to give the team shells, money for entry fees, and clothing. Companys who gave were including Remington, Winchester, and several other companies provide shells, gun cases (which were destroyed) and shooting gear. Norbert and his team are forever greatful for everyone support and help. They will remain at the Grand till 8/18/07 for Ashley Nau and Doug Bebee to continue to shoot. Please keep them in your prayers.
