    Don:

I'm not sure about this and maybe someone that knows will post, but I don't believe they run it individually every time someone hits the 1,000 target mark. I think they simply run it at various times throughout the year for all shooters at the same time; and everyone meeting the criteria on that day gets the reduction. Maybe I'd be at 1,100 targets and you might be at 1,500 targets.

How many singles targets have you registered during those 1500 Handicap targets? I ask because part of the review process says.

    7. Only those shooters who have registered 500 or more singles targets in the
current or previous target year or obtain Delegate and Central Handicap
Committee approval will be reviewed. If a shooter has insufficient singles
targets registered, and has not been approved, his counter will be zeroed
and he will be printed on the summary until sufficient singles targets are
registered. At such time the most current 1,000 handicap targets will
be used in the review. The following table is used to determine “relative
    16 yard average”:

Your Handicap average would also need to be below 90 to get a reduction.

Reviews are run on a monthly basis.

Special reviews can be made at any time.

But at the very least, your Delegate gets a report every month of those shooters who qualified for review; assuming any shooter in your state/province qualified for a review.

Yes, the Delegate can refuse your reduction.

    But I think that's rare.

The best thing to do in your situation is contact your Delegate and have him/her look into it.

Don my post wasn't a nock on you it was just information that most people don't know.

The average I was referring to was your "handicap" average not singles.
