At the point when you have just shot 99 straight.....or 299 straight, what do you think of just before that next dreaded target flys off to the resounding cry of "Lost"? Be honest!

Quote from an old friend.."If this gun wasn't so damn long, I'd consider turning it around!" That's the true reason they make trap guns as long as they do...

Shoot this one just like you did the other 99,199,or 299 and watch it break off the end of the barrel. Positive thoughts. Steve

I always have my thought shivvers around tthe end of my third trap. The last target is always dead meat if I am having a good round.

I lost my 100th for a 99 at a league shoot two summers ago (notice that I still remember it!). A slight tailwind "softened" the target slightly just as let the trigger go - I drew dust off of it but no pieces. I laughed - what else can you do?

I don't think, just do it. Thats one of the differences between trap and skeet shooters. Skeet is not for the thinking man, not while on the field anyway. bob finger

Hipshot a couple of years ago I shot six "99's" in a row in ata shoots. After that I just shoot and it is what it is. Anymore I don't shoot a 100 target program but I do shoot a 1 target program 100 times.

I usually say..."Oh, Crap" just before calling for the 100th target. That way, I don't have to say it just after I miss!

Never done it. Don't know what I'll say when it happens.

Maybe, "Hmmm, 99's not a bad score for a hack like me."

Each target holds equal value in the end.

    Curt

    P.S. Had 11 99's in a row......now that's really an "Oh Crap"

Hip,I say to myself you got one more to go when I shoot the 100 target.
    Broke 5 99s in a row at the 2003 Grand,it didn't work.
Missed my 79th bird four times in a row.
Guess what the wife had a neat little Tee-shirt made up.
    Still got it.
