While cleaning out the shed in the back yard I came across a large black wooden box marked 1910 on outside. Inside were rifle bolt parts, firing pins and other assorted parts. Also cans of sperm oil and other solvents. Any info would be appreciated. HMB

It may be a Springfield armorers kit. I had one for the M1917. If most of the tools are there, as well as spare parts, it may be valuable. Contact the Garand Collectors group(they have a website) and see if they can hook you up with a military collector.
