aside from mine being way too large for the small amount of money that i ever get to keep in it, mine is also completely worn out. so, before i go through the usual routine of dropping another 40 bucks at eddie bauer for the same old thing, do any of you guys have any experiences with what you think is, or has been, a really great wallet? thanks

My "wallet" is the bifold leather insert that comes with the larger bifold wallet.
It is the part you put you drivers liscence into, but it has a little room for a atm card and creditcard ,loose bills folded in half,a couple folded checks, nice and thin it goes into my front pocket and i hardly notice it there.

I got one of these "Smart Money Clips" a year or so ago and really like it. No more bulky leather wallet to sit on. I keep the clip in my front pocket with needed cards and bills. Here is a site on them:

I'm very unhappy with mine. It used to have more folding green stuff in it.

Saddleback Leather wallets are guaranteed for 100 years. I have 99 to go on mine and it looks like it will make it. Not so sure about me though.

Find a T J Maxx. They have wallets for $7-10.00; name brand items.

Personally, I have a Hartmann. If I didn;t lose them or have them stolen, I'd still be using the same one I had 20 years ago.

Alfred Dunhill. They're made in England and a lot of their styles I'm not to wild about, but their buffalo hide wallets were very nice. I've used this brand for about 20 years. When I wore out the last one I bought a wallet off ebay because the Dunhill's had gone way up in price. But if you want a really nice wallet these are hard to beat.

I use the Wal Mart leather wallets. Very inexpensive and when they start wearing out i get another one. Why would you spend an absorbent amount of money on an item that sits in your pocket between the seat and your butt 99% of the time and on your dresser the other 1%??

    thats "exorbitant"

and it is the same reason i spend an "exorbitant" amount of money on Perazzi shotguns (that's plural, more than one) that sit in my gun safe for a great deal of their life !

    because I can !

I bought a few Wallets made of (Black) Stingray. I have one left for sale at only $19.99 plus $3.99 for shipping. It will outlast any other leather.

funny you should ask. I just got a new front pocket wallet. It is made by Rolfs, has the ID pocket on one side and a money clip on the other. It flops open but inside are only 3 credit card slips on each side inside. there is a pocket under each one of those for a proximity card (use that to get into the club). I picked mine up at the Marine Corps Exchange at Marine Corps HQ for 14.99. While that is a deal, it is easily worth the price on the website.
