I love Merle Haggard. One of the best voices in country music. He looks young in this video for his current age. Is it an older piece?

I wonder how I ever missed this song. Silver Wings is my all time favorite of his songs.

I had tickets to see him next Wednesday, but the show was canceled due to him having pneumonia. He fought lung cancer a couple of years ago and I don't think he has been real strong since then. Merle might be on the downhill slide, so keep him in you prayers

I don't listen to a lot of country but if I do, Merle is one of my favorites. One that I like a little better but rarely hear is Charlie Pride. My favorite song though is probably, "She don't know she's beautiful." Always brings a smile to my face and make me think of my wife. She is beautiful to look at but also has a sweet spirit. Like Merle and Tron, I supported Hillary, in the democratic primary. Hell, that was a no-brainer. Maybe if more Republicans would have pulled a democrat ballot and voted for Hillary, in the '08 primaries we wouldn't have this train wreck of a President on our hands. At least she knew how to take a $10,000.00 investment in cattle futures/market and turn it into $100,000.00. Anybody here have that kind of track record when it comes to investing? LOL!!!

    John

P.S. I have always like Merle and Willie singing "Pancho and Lefty".

I mean you DO seem to know what I meant by the message. It has nothing to do with music or singers.
