For once, the Oscars weren't boring! I thought Seth Macfarlane was totally hilarious! The "we saw your boobs" song routine was too funny.

No, I didn't, except when my wife cut away during commercials, while I was trying to watch the drag racing on ESPN. I'm glad Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress. That was a good movie-Silver Lining Playbook. She's pretty classy.

First saw Jennifer Lawrnece in Winter's Bone - she was headed for stardom.

I did to see my friend Simon Hayes win the Oscar for best sound mixing for "Les Miserables." The production numbers were great and Barbra Streisands tribute to Marvin Hamlish's passing was wonderful. For 70+ yo she can still sing up a storm.

P.S. Here's picture of Simon on the Les Mis set.

No, I watched the "Roscoe" awards instead. It's the award show for the plumbing industry. Far more interesting and entertaining if you ask me.

Why would anyone want to watch a bunch of liberals pat themselves on the back? They get paid way more than they are worth and then use those assets to plot against my freedoms!! WTF

Wife had commandeered the TV so yes I watched.

I thought Seth Mcfarlan was pretty amusing.

Babs knocked it outta the park.

Ann Hathaway, while a little skinny for my taste, is absolutely beautiful.

We all know how Hollywood and the mainstream media fawn over the Obamas. The most egregious example was having Michelle announce the winner of the best picture award.

I watched the show. Really enjoyed Shirley Bassey, very uplifting. I also signed up to be an "Uber Liberal" because, after seeing this show, I note that "Liberals" have lotsa money. And I also want to go the the Oscar show and see lots of bare titties as per Seth McFarland's advice. Next year, at least for me, by Oscar time, I will be richer and get to go to the real show!!!
