Anyone want to ID this ?

    Lately, I've noticed a few of these being installed around our town. The trucks that are installing them are only marked with our City name on it. And yes I can and probably will call the City and ask what they are, but in the meantime, I'm wondering if anyone here can ID what the heck this is. It sits right next to the roadway and has its own power supply. None of the boxes have any markings on them.

    Keep this to yourself, but.... they're preparing for the Insurrection. As soon as people realize 4 buck a gallon gas is Zero's punishment on us for not passing gun control, there's gonna' be a Riot. Watch and learn what those innocuous little boxes are used for when that starts up.

    I can't say for sure but it may be a rectifier used for cathodic protection of some underground piping. They use anodes and put current through them. Keeps pipes from rusting

    That's easy. It's a pole with (3) metal boxes on it.
