I am thinking of trying the Briley Helix chokes in my 525. They are supposed

to give a more even pattern. Does anyone out there have any expierence with

them? It seemed to me that putting a spin on the wad would really spread the

shot pattern like rifling does in the smaller 22 calb. Called Briley and

they said the choke didn't act that way.

    Thanks, Del

It's a marketing gimmick. Don't waste your money.

I and a few friends have them. We found that the choke spins about $60.00 from your billfold.

Jack, do you think you could have won if you were off your game? So obviously you were on top of it and thats the big reason you won. I winder how you would feel about them if you were not on your game and did not win? Just making the age old point that you have to be on the target. Nice shooting and you should be proud

I bpught a Briley Helix choke for my K-80 and get MUCH BETTER hits using an Extended Titanium LIM (2+) choke from Kreighoff. I also have friends that swear by these chokes, but I really would not order more of them.

I hate the dirty build up on ported chokes especially on O/U guns. Jack could have won with his old plain chokes he needs choke help like Rockerfeller needs money.
