Friend was using his 101 pigeon grade and in the sun and we noticed rust color and debris between the bbls under the center rib vent holes. Everything else about the gun is perfect

I suspect it got dunked and not cleaned out. Wet rust came out on a probe wire.

We used penetrating oil and fished out what debris we could with a bent wire and then flushed with the straw on a can of choke cleaner

This was a Fla gun and may have salt in it somehow. Thinking of trying old style mil bore cleaner as they neutralized salts or steaming/ boiling the bbl end and re oiling

no debris up the other end near chambers

    thoughts? thansk!
