We're thinking of snowbirding in southern Nevada, but are at a loss, as to how to get information on what's available to rent for the first year. We would like to rent first before we jump in and buy something. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Tomas

My son lives in Vegas, lots of rentals but expensive. Housing prices have gone up 30% in the last year

Housing in Las Vegas is coming back very slowly. 30% is not much considering when the bottom fell out of the market many homes lost over 50% of their value. Pricing is coming back where it is realistic. You will not see the out of control market anywhere.

There are many people who winter over in Vegas. If you are a shooter and have an RV, many take advantage of the Clark County Shooting Complex program where you get your free RV space including power, sewer, water, paved, barbeque and covered for working 15 hours per week at the complex. If interested contact Iris at 702-455-2004.

If Vegas is to congested for you try Primm right on down hiway 15 to the Calif border or Parump, just over the hills from Vegas they've both got shopping and muitiple casinos
