Has anyone seen or shot the new Butler semi-automatic? Supposed to be very low recoil. Availability?

Do a search on here. There are numerous threads about the new Butler with lots of guys who have shot it. It's the real deal but pricey.

I shot the Butler at the Nevada State shoot. Ran 25 at 16 first time out. Very light recoil, and very impressive.

I look forward to their having their production ramped up and available without a wait.

I would also like to shoot one at doubles.

Cool, I'm happy to hear they will be at the Grand. I have been itching to see what all the hub-hub is about. I'm not so sure mama would be keen to a $7500 trap gun though.

    Dave,

Doubles was my real motivation for trying out the Butler at the GWG in Reno. I simply shot from the practice trap, and went after the biggest piece. That was a challenge, as even with only a .015 choke, I had to almost try to miss to get a decent piece.

Bottom line was, almost zero and imperceptible muzzle jump. By far the smoothest 12 GA I have ever shot.

    Barry,

That's a novel idea. Too bad they wouldnt go for that like they do a walker or wheelchair. Heck a lot of us shooters would qualify for one.
