Anyone seen Sig P226 frame chipped

    Yes and I hate to say it but it after someone who didn't know how tried to take the mag release out by force.

    You might want to run this by Mr. Bruce Gray...he's a master gunsmith (and a fantastic person), he and his team at Grayguns are famous for their work on Sig's.

    Probably best to call him rather than rely on email.

    When your done with the shipping and repair bill you might have $150+ spent. Put some black dyed bondo in the chipped area and shoot it.

    Bitch to the co and see if they will fix it or replace it. That should not have happened. Let them know that yours is not the only one.

    Operator error? MY guess pushed release too hard and it caught. So a hammer is in order. right?
