I shot sporting clays on Sunday and picked up a bunch of once fired Rio paper hulls. They look to be a good loading hull and seem to just as good as Federal papers. Has anyone reloaded these before? Are they a straight walled hull? where can you find reloading data for these?

I used the load data for the Noble Sport plastic low base wad hulls and had good results. I wasn't reloading them heavy, just to 3 dram spec's. They reloaded fine and the crimps weren't too fussy. They use an oversized primer, so you'll need to use the same when reloading. I reloaded them 1 once and tossed them.

They sure don't smell like Federal papers though!

You are darned right about those Rio papers!

Load them with Rio primer, and use Fed paper data with Fed primer. Lod them once and toss them.

I scrounge every one of them I can.
