Send a copy to Kenny Ray Estes of the ATA's Trapshooting Hall of Fame...

    I'll bet he'll have them ID'd pronto.

They are skeet shooters. If that is a skeet station next to the one shooter, we should be looking for a skeet club or private skeet range with a swimming pool behind the fields. The absense of spectators suggests a skeet field at a private home. I don't recognize the shooters. Where was the picture found?

Thats some "old money" right there. Skeet for sure, looks like a country club. The green shooting jacket looks like it has a patch of some kind on the sleeve. Wayne

Could this possibly be on a private estate, now a county park, in the Topanga Canyon vicinity of Los Angeles County? I went hiking in that area about a month ago and spied the vestige of an old skeet range. Anybody?

What about the guns? The one on the left looks like a Browning Double Auto Twelvette.

Looks like the Double Auto Twenty-Weight with the gold on the receiver? Didn't the black Twelvettes have a gold outline? Wayne

Could be alloy receiver with no Twelvette marking, a Twelvette or a Twentyweight. The Twentyweight was introduced about 1957 I think. The Twentyweight I have has the same engraving on the side as the Twelvette both with gold outline.

Just a suggestion here from a young wipper snapper.

But these girls have a movie star look about them, especially the one second from left and the one with the glasses.

I have no idea who they might be but im guessing some you old timers might.

The gun in the middle looks like it may be a M50 and the 2nd from the right possibly a M59.

I don't know how any of you old timers got in any shooting back in the day with that kind of quail hanging out around the club. I wish we could get some gals out where I shoot.

I agree with Ed Schultz...definitely class. I am amazed at the pride that Americans once took in their appearance.
