I picked up in a trade a beautiful 243 cal, FN, with beautiful stock. The FN is engraved on top and bottom, high luster bluing. The gun has been gone through since the trigger is silky smooth. Shot it once and it groups great.

The barrel is stamped 243 with W. Jarvis below it.

The question is has anyone heard of this gunsmith? I tried the internet but nothing comes up.

    thanks
    Bob

I found them on the internet and called them. They said they didn't do it and no one there with the initials W. Jarvis.

    thanks anyway.

Well the owner is Bill Jarvis. Guessing his given name is William, that would give you W. Jarvis. Not saying its the right guy, but it does go to disproving "no one there with the initials W. Jarvis".
