Anyone have pics of the innards of a MX12 action (MS80 or MT6 should work as well). Trying to compare the insides to a Pedersen 1500 (spanish copy of the perazzi from the 70s) to see what might interchange.

    Skeet,

Doesn't look like much is going to interchange with the MX12. The Pedersen 1500 has leaf springs:

What we need is a photo of a leaf-sprung Perazzi, as I too am a 1500 owner and would like to know what might interchange. Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of Perazzi models so I have no clue what to ask for!

MX8- Thank you much for the pic! You have that drink if we ever meet! Just remind me.

Looks like the pedersen is similar in design to the mx12, a little more rudimentary, and leaf springs vs coil.

Did perazzi ever make a fixed trigger gun w/ leaf springs (I thought the mx12 was this way but I guess not)? Either way, the leaf springs on the pedersen look alot like leaf springs from a drop trigger perazzi.

I've also seen someone mention the earlier perazzi firing pins are an interchange (or at least easy to fabricate). Firing pin springs should be pretty easy to find. The design doesn't look to have very many parts, if perazzi mainsprings and firing pins will interchange, this gun would have more readily available parts than any other gun that was discontinued 30 years ago!

do you think the perazzi hammer spring could be fit to a pedersen? Without having the gun in my hand, pics look pretty similar.
