Anyone care to share your recipes for good, economical reloads? Interested in loads for your typical Remington STS, Nitro27 or Gun club type hulls and for AA-HS also. 12 and/or 20 gauge. What you might load up for a weekend practice vs what you might want for a tournament (if different). If someone is loading Federal/Estate type hulls or Euro-Trash with some success please contribute your info too! Thanks, great website!

FIO primer, 17.5gr Promo, 1oz reclaimed shot. Any hull and the correct wad for the hull. Works out to about $3.30 per box of 25 unless you need to buy the hulls....... Larry

Shot410ga... If you can't find Promo, look for Claydot. Better than Promo yet costs pretty much the same... Dan Thome (Trap2)

Weekend- Any hull with 1oz wad to match 18.3 gn green dot 7/8 oz of 8.5 shot for singles. For Caps I'll load one oz of 8's with the same powder charge.

Registered Targets- one oz eights across the board. If its blowing hard 7 1/2's come out.

    This load works for me.

Remington STS hull, Remington primer, 18.4 grains of Red Dot powder and a DownRange 1 1/8 ounce Remington look alike wad. I also prefer 7 1/2 shot.

I figure that gives me about 1170 or there abouts in feet per second.

It will do the job all the way back to the 27 and it won't beat you up.

    Hauxfan!
