Its a scam, run away from the deal as fast as you possibly can. You might as well send a wad of cash in the mail, it has the same level of security.

It's safe if you are on the receiving end of the money. If you are sending someone money to buy a gun that way, be afraid. That screams scam.

My credit union will not cash a USPS money order without first calling to verify that it is legitimate. This gives me a feeling of security as I know right then and there that it is either good or not. So far all of them have been good. Nothing gets shipped before the money order gets verified and cashed.

When I bought my krieghoff I found a gun store in the sellers area who acted as my agent I sent him 2 cashiers checks 1 for his services and 1 for the gun. the seller took him the gun and he gave the check to the seller and shipped me the gun. I think it cost me a extra $50.00 or so but when you are sending $7000. to someone you dont know its worth it. Randy

Never, never, never use Western Union. WU is old school. Today you can do wire xfers, postal money orders, etc. I can't believe WU is still in business.

My son is with the bank. He says that I can check the validity of any postal money order, or the bank can on-line.

Consequently, if you get a Poastal Money Order, before you ship off the gun, have your bank check its/their validity.
