I would like to get ahold of a few or several Detent Balls (Ball Bearings)for a MEC reloader. As far as I know they're all the same. I'll be glad to pay you for them plus postage. Also if you happen to have the "L" shaped device that holds the ball in place I'd be happy to pay you for a couple of them as well.

    Thanks Dave

Go to a machine shop supply house - they sell boxes of 225 for about five bucks. That way, you'll be able to supply all your fellow club members and at at 50 cents per, make money on the box. They are 1/8", by the way.

If you have an Ace/DoItBest in your area, you can find ball bearings in the section with the screws/nuts/washers.

1/8 inch balls are very common. I get them at Fastenal but almost any competent hardware outfit whould have them and they are cheap.

Back in the early 90's I bought a detent ball from MEC for $1 then I picked up a package of 100 for $3 so now I got a lot of balls.

Get it from mec, they don't ever wear out and you can get the bracket at the same time.

Well it looks like you found some. For a moment there I thought I was going to have ask the wife if she knew were mine are.
