It was kind of an important day in US history. It's not even on the news. Shameful.

I was in my high school junior year German classroom and there was a knock on the door. After the teacher answered the door she came back and spoke in German " Der president bin geschoosin". I may have forgotten most of my German but not those words.

Naval Air Technical Training Center Memphis north side gymnasium playing basketball alone. Went to the window to turn in the ball and all the ship's company were glued to the black and white TV. Only thing that makes the day palatable is that it's my son's birthday also. 39 today and somehow I'm still 37.

    RIP JFK

BigM-Perazzi, my nephew graduated from La Serna a couple of years ago and my brother is an elder at the Church there. Do you still live in that area? Jim

I was miffed because Looney Tunes was preempted by the news.

Four year olds have different priorities. I did not understand what was happening.
