anybody listen to music while shooting

    was wondering how many or if anybody listens to a mp3 player while shooting have tried myself worked ok but only tried in practice

    At the spring grand Mike Sovich listened to music and shot a 100, seemed to work for him.

    Lots of people do it and just use the Ipod earbuds instead of real hearing protection.

    That is kind of stupid, once your hearing is gone you don't get it back.

    Use electronic muffs or earbuds with a rating.

    Funny you asked that. I don't actually listen to music but I do find myself humming most of the time. Not even a conscious doing just happens.

    Nope. Can't listen to music and shoot at the same time. Or chewing gum either.

    Trick is finding the music with the right tempo!!

    I had a pair of these plugs made a couple of years ago at our state shoot. The only problem is hearing the scorer calling the targets. But, it sure does drown out any background noise.

    yeah, I started to listen to stuff like this, but I found I couldn't keep my feet still on the station in between shots. pualbo

    I listen to my iPod & Bose over-the-ear headphones thru molded silicone ear ear plugs.
    Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn & company help me concentrate.
