The Cowboy Hall of Fame is a must see. Huge John Wayne exhibit. The Murrow Building is also a must see. There is or was a very large indoor atrium in Okla City too.

The correct name of the building is the Murrah Building. Just wanted to make sure you had the right name if you needed to look up any info on the site. Also, there is an area near the Murrah building referred to as "Bricktown", there are a lot of good restaurants in Bricktown. The Oklahoma City Thunder also play in the same area if you enjoy professional basketball.

    Good luck on your trip.

Will Rogers said something like this, "Every time someone moves from Oklahoma to California, it raises the IQ of both states."

I am sure there are very few "real Okies" left.

Now don't ya be dispraging Okies. My parents were from NE Oklahoma (Picher and Tulsa) and were part of the depression era bunch that took California without firing a shot. They always said Texas was where the Okie rif-raf went. Of course (and thankfully for me) they had the good sense to get the hell out of San Bernardino in the late 40s.

If you like western art and displays, the Cowboy Hall of Fame is a must. Been years for me but remember a pretty decent zoo in OK City too.
