I was just wondering if anybody else is sick of summer? I'm in Indiana - mid 90s with a matching humidity. July seems to be 3 times longer than Jan.

Snow, might be a strecth, but I sure am looking forward to the first frost. Anybody else?

I just feel better in cold weather.

I live in Indiana also. Went and shot 2 rds. today at the range and was getting wet with sweat. The corn around the range is so high it blocks any wind, not that there was any to block. BUT! I still am not ready for winter! Especially after last winter. I would rather mow grass than walk behind a snowblower. I am ready for some nice fall weather though anytime now! charlie01

    Dumb and dumber.

Snow sucks. Cars that don't start suck. 6 layers of clothing suck.

If you are too hot stand in the sprinkler.

When I left this morning to go to work, it was breezy and 38F.

Of course, I'm currently in the southern hemisphere, where its winter now...

The high today will be about 68F.

I wait all winter for hot weather. The hotter the better. I don't like AC don't use it my house or cars. I work out side in the construction field and the AC in my excavators are never turned on. Wish we had this weather all year long.

Come West, young man. The PITA Grand Pacific is coming up at Olympia, WA.

Probably heat in the mid 70's and minimum humidity.

I am ready. Sometimes wish I still lived in one of those states where it has snowed in every month of the year (Wisconsin and North Dakota).

Bisi, yep, its hot. But you better hope we don't get the equivalent amount of snow this winter, as to what 12 inches of rain would equate to that fell in the month of June, in the Southeastern part of the state. Or you may want to buy a snowblower in the off season.

I`m ready . Hate the hot weather . Left Florida last year in Dec when it was 82* and couldn`t wait to get home and blow some snow here in NJ . Left Tucson AZ after 2 weeks this March and the same there -- hot and more hot . They asked me when I was moving out and I said "When it`s a cold day in Hell". Got home to some green grass and colorfull flowers . Yes I like them too . Sucks when it`s over 80* .

Where I live it gets very hot and can stay that way for months. Every time I go outside I need a shower to get the sweat off. I am sick of the bug bites when I feed my dogs and sick of walking through spider webs when I am out in the evenings. I hate the sweating and the stench of summer. The sound of the frogs and cicadas drives me crazy in the evenings. Summer is very loud. Every summer there are old people and young people that die from the heat. Our winters are mild with only the occasional snow and nobody dies from it but every year I hear people longing for summer. I don't get it. I don't see how the indians lived out in the heat and the bugs without dying or wishing they were dead.
