To check prices, you can also check www.edmunds.com, find the Toyota forum, then get into the Sienna discussion and check what prices people claim to have paid. You can also find the invoice price and current incentives on Siennas there. For instance, it looks like there is a $1500 rebate right now on Siennas, or cheap interest, and cheap leases on some models. With the way the market is, they'd probably take invoice minus rebates, if not less. Hope this helps. Also, you can find her a sienna made in Indiana when you do her shopping.

As high as gas prices are id say make most any resonable offer and it might be accepted.

Get the invoice price and negotiate from there.

Always negoitate up from invoice, never down from sticker!

    BTW-Sienna's are made in Kentucky...

She must be some kind of stupido asking you for help when the first thing you suggested was to buy American and you dont even know that the car she wants is made right here in the good ole USofA in Princeton Indiana.

Now that is just short of hilarious you telling her to buy American and she actually is and you dont know it and she still wants your opinion ... just simply priceless.

BTW - you work in a bank Steve so that must mean your boss works in a bank as well and all bank loan officers know about the best deal that can be done on a car because they, well ... um ... uh ... never mind it is far above a tellers comprehension.

Just tell her the color looks good and that she should get the pretty one that goes vroom vroom.

Just because something is assembled here does NOT make it American made....most of the purchase price will still be mailed to Tokyo

I just finished building a rifle on a K98 action with commercial Yugoslav 98 barreland stock and it will have a Zeiss scope...is it American made...I think not

do what the boss wants. american minivans are junk. if you talk her into one and it starts falling apart you can kiss your job goodby. I personnaly feel the Honda is the best of the best. ANY vehicle can be had for a good price especially now when no one is buying anything that they don't absolutely need. oz

whatever she buys, she should hold off. We have a long way to go to hit bottom. You are going to see some very very depressed car dealers before it is over and prices are going to come way down. I saw it in the 80's and it is going to be worse this time around.

Sienna - 85% domestic content, assembled in Princeton, IN.
Chevy Aveo - built by Daewoo "zero percent content car" for GM.

Toyota is what I have been buying more of recently. Employ a bunch of people in my area. If they built a truck with enough towing power (I got a 2500), I would have bought that from them also. Had my Tundra for 5 years and never had one problem with it.

As the boys at American Axle who their biggest client is. oooppppsss, not one of the "american" companies....

Your more than welcome Steve, more than welcome.

Are you going to be shooting this weekend or staying away and saving it all for another day?
