Any help on what gun this is?

    Any Ideas on what this is it was given to me and has no markings other then a serial number.

    Something besides a red "X" for an image might get better results.

    Samozaryadnaya Vintovka Tokareva (SVT-40)
    Looks like a sporterized/civilian version of the SVT-40. The Action, trigger guard, and magazine release appear to be from the above. Though I could be completely wrong. Originally fired 7.62X54R. If it is a sporterized version it could been in .303 British.
