    These are recoil activated

    Quality? Durable? Reliable?

Do they cycle anything from heavy field to 7/8 oz 12 ga loads?

What do you like/ dislike about one?

If you had a choice of this or a 390 / 391 Beretta, what would you take?

    thanks !

I have an M-2 that has made two trips to Argentina for pidgins. 5000 shells total for both trips. No problems. Very little cleaning. I also took my 20 391 down for doves and shot that with no issues. Both are excellent guns. The m-2 does kick a bit more than my 12ga. 391. can't go wrong with either gun.

Good reliable gun. Doesn't shoot 31/2 inch shells if that matters to you.Wooden stock broke replaced with lighter plastic stock and fore end.

M2 is lighter than the Beretta 391. A dream to carry pheasant hunting. Much easier to clean.

Bad points, are a less than crisp trigger, and the max. height on the stock adjustment is too low.

Mine will cycle 1oz., never tried 7/8 oz.
