I WAS LOOKING FOR ANTIQUE TRAP THROWERS ON THE WEB WHEN I CAME ACROSS THIS WEB SITE AND THOUGHT YOU ALL WOULD ENJOY PHOTOS OF MY -- R.BLANTON CLAY THROWING RIFLE -- I THINK IT IS ENGLISH AND IT HAS A PAT.NUMBER AND A SERIAL NUMBER NO.149 ALSO IF ANYONE HAS INFO ON THIS ITEM I WOULD APPRECIATE THE INFO -- HAVE A GREAT DAY -- RICK

    Never have seen one but it sure looks like it would be fun. I can envision a freindly game of 'see if you can hit this' with buddies.

    You could start a new game with that! Self Defense Clays would be a good name. Just need 1/2 dozen throwers and some brave throwers to run them! LOl

    I have one that was made by DuPont. Its cast iron and shaped like a rifle. Age ?? Value ?? Larry Evans

    Larry, your Dupont thrower is from 1915. They sell anywhere from $95 to $200 depending on condition. Hope this helps.
