With the high price of oil and oil products, will we be able to afford grease for our guns? Would applying grease only every other time be a significant cost savings?

    Pat,

Use a non-petroleum based product like KY Jelly.

So has anyone ever tried "Pam" or another type cooking spray?

    How about Crisco?

Then there are the hair gels, tonics, foam and such that seem to leave a substantial glistening effect on strands of hair...

But for me I guess I'll just have to start catching the drippings from these old relic vehicles I own! One days worth ought to do me for years....

Astroglide. Just don't shoot in the rain. for wet conditions use use the blue waterproof boat trailer axle grease or perhaps lard.

Al Ljutic's customers have no problem since Al gave each customer a can of special grease that will last a lifetime. Mine should be good for another 55 to 60 years.
