Lat night an armed 17-year old attempted to rob a citizen in Milwaukee...

One small problem is it seems the bad guy picked an off-duty Police Detective who was prepared for his little attacker.

Will this one make the MSM? I doubt it!

I just hate seeing these things end up with "non life threatening" injuries - everyone of these thugs needs to end up in the morgue.

One of the best occured 15 years ago while I lived in Philly. An armed robber entered a Dunkin Donuts shop and proceded to hold the place up. Big mistake 1, he targeted a shop a block away from a police precinct station, big mistake 2, it was 1/2 hour after shift change. Big mistake 3, he pointed his gun at some of the customers. 3 customers were armed police officers. The robber served no jail time as he was a coroner case.

Gun grabbers won't like that story.

On that same page a link to this:

MILWAUKEE — 14-year-old Kaleel Buchanan, the teen accused of shooting and killing Dennis Smith near 24th and Keefe on the morning of Saturday, August 18th, was bound over for trial during his court appearance Wednesday, January 2nd.

A hearing has been scheduled for March to determine if Kaleel could be waived back to juvenile court. At this time, Kaleel is being held in a secure detention.

Kalleel was charged with first-degree intentional homicide on Thursday, September 6th.

The criminal complaint against Buchanan indicates Smith was arguing with two people just before 10:30 a.m. that Saturday. During the altercation, someone gave Smith a gun “which he waved around” and then put in his waistband.

The complaint says after the argument was wrapped up, Buchanan was seen running through a nearby vacant lot towards Smith. He grabbed a gun and apparently yelled, “You robbed my brother G-Rod,” and began shooting Smith.

A witness statement to police says Buchanan “kept shooting and may have shot eight to 10 times and that he ‘showed no mercy’” to Smith. Another witness says Buchanan emptied the clip in the gun he was holding.

An autopsy on Dennis Smith shows he suffered at least 23 gunshot wounds.

If convicted, Buchanan faces up to life in prison.

A 14 year old. NOT able to legally buy a gun.

So how is Fineswine and her ilk going to stop this?

A lax legal system in a country with unarmed citizens is going to be hard to live under.

Down the rabbit hole we go.

FYI, all Milwaukee cops are required to carry their sidearms off duty 24/7. About 40 years ago the Chief of Police stopped two armed robbers robbing a store he was in - killing one and wounding the second. Might make sense to have this be a national decree that ALL law enforcement be required to carry 24/7!

I really like this one. The victims wore pink to the sentencing.

ST. PAUL, Minn.—A man whose alleged burglary attempt of a St. Paul home was foiled by two women and a pink gun has been sentenced to almost 11 years in prison. A St. Paul Pioneer Press report ( http://bit.ly/UTc0Cd) says Marty Mark Childs pleaded guilty in October to first-degree burglary. He was sentenced Friday.

Prosecutors say Childs entered the home on a September afternoon through an unlocked back door, while 56-year-old Rebecca Larson was washing her car in the front driveway. Larson told investigators she walked in and found Childs standing next to her open purse.

Prosecutors say he tried to leave but Larson locked the door and called to her sleeping 34-year-old daughter to grab her pink 9 mm handgun. The two held Childs at gunpoint until police arrived.
