Just like the laws that make the burglary victim the criminal if his guns are stolen, now Wilsonville, Oregon, is trying to pass a law that penalizes property owners if they don't clean up graffiti within 72 hours. If they don't, the city will do it and send them a big, fat bill.<br>

Aside from how wrong it is to make the victim the criminal, who's to say the city won't cause more damage by removing or covering up the graffiti?

I would call my insurance guy and let him know there will be some nice fat claims from having commercial contractors do the work

Stucco removal and replacement, priming and painting, and a lot more.

City fathers will probably yield to pressure from the proper places.

And, it may just be possible that the city's "big fat bill" would have to be covered by the insurance.

Dumb and dumber. They wanted me to run for alderman this time around, and I just couldn't warm up to the idea of spending all that time in a special ed class.

Most people become "Victim's" because they adhere to the "6 P Rrinciple".

Waterhouse, Sometimes firemen cause damage to property trying to look for and prevent seniors and children from burning in fire.

Had the firemen let it burn would the damages been less? Firemen come to save lives risking their own and you want to sue them?

In the SF of old...the 6 P Principle was:

Piss Poor Planning = Piss Poor Performance

That said...the others work as well.
