Another inexpensive recoil reduction device

    You can use children's modeling clay, the kind that looks like a sick of butter, embedded with lead shot. It is heavy and conforms to any shape easily like an irregular shaped stock cavity. It may be wrapped in clear celophane to keep it from 'bleeding' or 'leachiung' into the stock's wood and located forward or backward with use of crushed packing 'peanuts'.

    I have found that a stick of that same modeling clay also picks up spilled shot better than most anything & then when you can't pack anymore shot into it, use it for adjusting the balance & weight of your gun.
