You spend $100 on entry fees and ammo and if you win you get $2.00. HMB

Ha-ha, that sounds about right.Sort of like driving to the casino, without the walkers, oxygen tanks, smoke and people screaming.

HMB is too funny- we just shoot a Custer ( like an Annie) but it costs $4 to shoot as usual and also $4 for two $2 bills. When you miss and someone breaks the target you pay that person $2. If 4 people miss and a shooters breaks it, they all pay the shooter who broke it. If you overshoot, you pay the guy who broke it. One buy back so second miss that someone breaks means you are out of the game. We still pay 1 place ( a $9 meat prize) for each five shooters. It generates a lot of laughter and excitement when a lot of people miss and someone breaks it. It creates even more when someone over shoots ( and they always do) You can also make it so if you miss your own target three times you are out

Over shoot means that even though the person before you broke their target, you still shot which would put a ding on you or put you out. People do it in anticipation that the other shooter is going to miss and they do not.

    Cuban Cigar 2000,

I assume there is a scorekeeper to police the number of "hickeys" that each shooter has and not just a person keeping count of thrown birds.

The point is if someone who won a custer wasn`t honest, or made a mistake, about the number of hickeys he/she had there is always the opportunity to use the $2.00 bills won in previous custers to stay in the game.

They could pay an extra $2.00 and stay in when in reality they should be sitting down.

The reason I am asking is this sounds like something we would like to do but I want to get the facts straight first.

Where did you live in Indiana? I live in Mooresville at present, eight miles southwest of Indy. As you know, around here these type shoots are called Annie Oakleys, or Annies. In southern Indiana they are called Killers. Apparently that name carries across the Ohio river too as Shotgun 1957 has already mentioned.

    Thanks for your time,

    Gold Medal

Gold Medal. We only have one buyback so it is easy to keep track of. If you miss and get dinged, you go to the end of the line. The persons to the left know they are straight and you are not believe me. No cheating at our club. I would not hesitate to send someone home and refund their dues if that were the case. We have never had a problem
