Nobody who's spent any time studying the lifelong dimwit John McCain should be surprised by this. He's also a disgrace to the otherwise honorable Naval Academy, which reluctantly let this acedemic near-retard squirt out of their sphincter under pressure from his father. His drunken butt "graduated" in the bottom 1% of his class before he went on to crash multiple taxpayer-owned planes and then come home to a shameless life on the public dole.

Told ya he's an anti-gunner who craps on gun owners.

McLame came to Oregon and campaigned for a "gunshow loophole" ballot initiative that also made legal the unauthorized by law state police gun registry of all guns going through NICS.

While McLame picked up a lot of moderate votes, he lost gun owner votes here, and lost Oregon.

Lesson to RINOs: Don't crap in your own backyard.

McCain turned senile . Unfortunelty it tarnished many honorable things he did in the fast. He should resign. He is a RINO now--Too bad!

I'm flabbergasted by the number of politicians from our glorious leader on down, many of them lawyers, who seem to think Zimmerman was acquitted because of Florida's "stand your ground" law. He wasn't. It was plain vanilla self-defense, as I understand it. The defense chose not to invoke the stand-your-ground law--facts didn't really mesh with the law as, at the time Zimmerman shot Martin, he was flat on his back and had no opportunity to retreat.

Do these people want to appeal the centuries-old right of self defense that is part of the laws of all fifty states? Because that was all that was at issue in this case...

I have never been a democrat, liberal, socialist, progressive, tree hugger or a communist. I am a Tea Party member because I am a constitutionalist. For those of simple minds, I support and uphold the Constitution as the basis for law. If you believe anything different, you are one or more of the options in sentence one and therefore a person who believes as Odumbass, Holder, Pelosi, Reid, Frankenstein, Mcshame and many others in both parties. You are the problem with this country!

What irritates me the most about this "stand your ground law" BS is if it didn't exist does anyone think Trevon would have ran?

Seems like Trevon stood his ground!

From all reports he is the one who threw the first punch.

This is the simple truth to this whole mess. The kid was the attacker.

He could have easily outran the fat "white guy"

Why didn't he just run home? Nobody seems to be asking this question.

"Home" was 70 yards away, by the way, so obviously he chose confrontation.

Interesting article StFln. When a writer from Yahoo is happy with a politician then you can assume that politician is a Democrat or is acting like a Democrat.

That the republican party doesn't run someone against him in the primaries and move him out to pasture is proof of where the republican party leadership is coming from.

Sorry Johnny I didn't realize the article was written by Connor Simpson or published by the Atlantic Wire. I'm sure they are stalwarts of conservative movement.
