I would like to take the time to express an apology to everyone on TS for some unbecoming language and comments that I made. Hind sight is 20/20 and looking back I realize that everyone on this site deserves more respect than what I have shown. It's up to you wether or not you choose to accept. All I can do is offer and state that I will not use such language again or attack people personally. We are all shooters and our sport is our common bond. Good luck Chuck Hrosik

Chuck, I'd rather discuss politics with you than my wife. She claims I've gone over the edge and been brainwashed by Beck. Oh well, you can't win them all. Good luck and shoot well, Bob

Ah heck, that thread was just getting good and now he wants to end it. WTH? I could say something but all good things gotta come to an end sometime.

I don't care what you say though - you are still not going to get my Bud Light.

I'm sorry but you don't say what you said on this site or any site for that matter and then expect instant forgiveness with an apology. Posters have been removed from here for saying a lot less.

Chuck, I think you're a good man to appologize, sometimes in the heat of typing on the keyboard everybody gets a little carried away, at least you're man enough to own up to it, and if some people can't accept your appology, it just shows what they are made of

Somehow I'm reminded of my kids who heard over and over that if they "blew it" in any sort of manner involving trust, common sense, and serious decisions, my feeling of trust to/for them was damaged in one fell swoop but it just might take some time to reverse the damage. They found that it took some concerted effort to win back Dad's full support in these matters......breakemall.....Bob Dodd

Chuck, we are all brothers of sport shooting.

I know that sometimes open forums can become virtual WWF wrestling matches when it comes to political issues, ideology etc.
There is a tremendous amount of passion for most of us in what we believe and know to be true.

When anyone express an opinion they are at risk that some people might have a robustly different and sometimes overly passionate response especially when it comes to our sport versus Liberals/Democrats who historically have opposed us as gun owners and sportsmen.

I respect you for having the internal fortitude to state your opinion.
You've earned much more respect with having the ability to analyze the situation and vibe created in the previous posts, man up and show respect to your brothers.
We truly are all brother in our beloved sport regardless of anything. Hopefully we have shed some light upon you with regards to how strong our convictions truly are when it comes to anyone who strays near the enemy lines. (Obama, Socialism, Liberalism and anything anti-gun) To some you may be a contradiction in terms with regards to your voting record versus being a sportsman.
We rarely expect people who are sportsmen to be anything but Conservative.
I'd just like to say no harm, no foul. In the future, if you poke the bear with a stick, he will eat you. I see that you are man enough to face those consequences with honor, hopefully those who were here and decided to jam pile on you, will also show some mutual respect. Hopefully this experience has provided you with time to reflect and possibly rethink your political affiliation and your allegiance as a sportsman. Its all good.

BTW Chuck, I have huge chunks of Liberals in my stool..... just kidding

Let's get something straight I am not slow to accept based on his political beliefs, he is entitled to those as is anyone. I cannot accept the gross, gutter, vulgar comment he made in one post. You want to talk like that then meet him at the bar or parking lot but not here.

Don, I can certainly understand how you feel. As I stated in my post all I can do is extend an olive branch. Whomever wishes to accept is welcome. If not that's their choice. That was out of character for me and all I can say that I had a brain fart. It does happen. After everything, if you had a flat and it was pouring out, I'd stop and help you change your tire. Hopefully someday you and I can meet and maybe things will be different. Good luck Chuck Hrosik

I got into a pissing match with Catpower a while ago. After a few PM's we realized we were both pretty decent guys and brushed the incident aside.

It is easy to keyboard crap in the heat of the moment that you regret latter.

Chuck, I don't know you or the thread in question, but you want to put it right. That is the best you can do as words cannot be unsaid. If you believe you personally offend someone, PM them. You have done the right thing to apologize to the forum if you believe it was warranted.

I've received many many angry PM's and Emails over the years and have even met a lot of the angry people. Always over something that I posted in jest, but they just didn't get it. Every single one of the turned out to be alright, without exception. Some even turned out to be real good friends of mine.

I think that maybe we all need a group hug?

    Kumbaya my Lord, Kumbaya......
