I've maintained that the problem is not with race, but with upbringing and the social environment one is raised in. This incident clearly illustrates this position.

It also makes a clear argument for armed law-abiding citizens. These goons have no qualms about killing law-abiding citizens, and there is outrage when victims fight back, because that interferes with their murdering ways of life.

Everyone should watch some of the "Gangland" segments on the History Channel.....I believe these gangs pose a much larger threat to Americas future, than any towelhead.....ever will......Too bad terrorism is so profitable, these gangs will flourish, while we're spinning our wheels and going broke elsewhere.

In a liberals point of view, when is a person an adult? She kept repeating "killing the kids". I remember a generation not long ago, where you were drafted, given a haircut, issued government underwear and a rifle, called a man and ordered to defend your country. This was at the age of 18. Was her son disabled in some way that he was not to be held responsible as a man at age 20? By 20 I had a wife, a kid, a mortgage and a full time job. I was raised in a very poor area with no father and an abusive stepfather, so you cannot say I was privileged. When did we quit asking people to grow up? Just exactly when does a liberal think someone is old enough to be responsible for their own actions?

You can take them out of the Ghetto, but can't take the Ghetto out of them ... Look at Hollyweird and some of the rappers (entertainers) to see what I mean ... There is a completely different mind set when raised in the projects ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Welfare should offer them all $2000 cash for having their tubes tied.

WPT, i'm not sure it is the projects.I was raised for part of my life in the projects in Pittsburgh. I wound up being a VP in a medium sized manufacturing plant. I still associate with others from the projects that have done fairly well for themselves. I do agree that the projects are not a desireable place to raise your kids but more important,it's the parents and your upbringing. If your parents are a POS chances are you will be too.The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. Bulge.

It all boils down to personal responsibility. If you have none you look for excuses and handouts. Nothing worse than lazy people. They have been given way too much. Time to let them fend for themselves. Nothing is gained but laziness from the welfare state.

    Bulge,

That was not meant to be a personal attack on anyone so Please don't take it as such ... The projects in and around Chicago are Ghettos personified to the point that even the Police do not want to have to respond to calls in them and seldom do if they can help it ... Cabrini Green was one of Chicago's finest group housing projects, like a war zone after it got dark out ... They would shoot just to shoot, because thats what they did ... There was another place called Altgelt Gardens (Alligator Gardens) on the far south side that couldn't keep tenants because they got killed quicker than they could move in ... I'm talking Ghetto projects not low income housing projects, theres a big difference ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

No offense taken. When I grew up there, it was the late fifties and early sixties. The government kept us segregated. Blacks in one set of buildings and whites in others. You could hear them beating on the bottom of 55 gal. garbage cans. Drum messages from one set of buildings to other sets of buildings.I certainly would not want to have had to raise my daughters there. Sorry WPT I did not try to make you feel that I was taking exception to you personally. My thoughts are it's the parents. Not all nxxxers are black. There are some lousy whites also. Bulge.

Answer: Just about one second after the "Kid" starts mugging, or rapeing, or stabbing, or robbing, or carjacking, or shooting that Liberal!

Our left-wing socialist government has caused all our problems. A nation of bastard children will be ripe with gangs. No hope for this country. We won't even protect our borders anymore. We won't even acknowledge our enemies anymore out of fear of retaliation. A nation run by women and emasculated men.
