    Any info on this proposed legislation? Alledgedly in the works in a number of state ledgislatures....

    Basically this act is the handi work of three former realtors from Washington state who felt it would be a good money maker for them. After the law enforcment community turned their nose up at them, these guys hired a lobbyist and the legislation you see is the result the lobby effort. Makes you want to stay involved to keep an eye on the law.

    If this is what you are refering to, these laws are being proposed in 18 states. There was alot of talk last spring about them. The ISTA Executive Director, Richard Pearson says they will be defeated in Illinois this year. I hope he's correct. Here is the link:

    Of course the violent felons will all use encoded ammunition to be sure law enforcement can do thir job.

    More puke BS from people who want someone else to solve all their problems.

    how do we get the representatives to vote this bill down?? It is a crazy law and 5 cents per round just raises the price 1 dollar per box for 20 rifle shells. Then to have to dispose of ammo in your possession. This is nuts. motordoc
