Americase rebuild

    Americase is redoing the inside of mine. After ten years it was showing a lot of wear. I do not know if they redo exteriors. I would call and ask.

    Why bother? Buy a case cover if you don't like the looks.

    I just talked to them about my case and asked them about polishing my ext. They said it is brushed alum. and would require a new finish. Sounded expensive.

    does anyone know how to get the interior out of an americase? I want to change the combination on the lock.

    Interior is glued in. Only way to get it out is pry it out, which will probably ruin the interior.

    That being said, there is NO reason to remove the interior to change the locks combination.

    Go to their website. They have the instructions for both types of locks.
