I typically do not read my copy of American Rifleman. However, I was pleased that there was an article about quite possibly the greatest american shooter ever. If you want a piece of history go to page 82 and read about Col Walter R. Walsh USMC-Ret FBI Agent and US. Olympic Team member.

This article is quite special because I had the privlige of shooting Skeet with Walter several years ago at Fairfax Rod and Gun Club, he was 95 at the time and I think he broke a 90 out of 100!

I also had the opportunity to watch him teach a pistol course to a Navy Nurse friend of mine. He had her shooting the center out of the target!

You'll be pleased to know that Col. Walsh is still going strong at 103! An American hero and a very nice person.
