In the August issue of the American Hunter magazine on pages 116-117 Mr. Jeff Johnson writes a review of a 20ga.Fabarm Elos shotgun. From the left column on pg. 117 near the bottom: (The barrels)"--and feature an 8-inch conical section that works like the nozzle of a hose to gradually reduce the over-bored barrel diameter from .740 inch to .725 and thereby increase pellet speed. The barrels then swell out into the hyperbolic profile of the flush fitting choke tubes."
    Discrepancies/questions:
-In a 20 ga. .740" would be one "helluvan" overbore
-Doesn't an 8-inch conical section seem very very long ?
-I thought barrel profiles (cross sections?) were round, not hyperbolic
-I didn't think choke constrictions increased shot velocity

FYI The Sept/Oct issue of Shooting Sportsman has a review of the same gun by Bruce Buck (Starting page#112). Irv
