"American Gun" shop broken into

    I don't understand the use of a silent alarm. The alarm system in my shop will wake the neighbors 1/2 mile away.

    And in this case, they did not get caught. I surely do not want the hassle of reporting stolen firearms and having to do inventory on other missing items.

    I'm with GunDr. The more noise, the more chance there is of someone seeing the thieves fleeing.

    My alarm is noisy enough to warm whoever is trying to break in that they are in big trouble now, and wakes me up ... Its the least I could do, and its hard to sleep with the dog barking ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
