Let's see, 52 to 53% of American voters in exit polls believe that the country is "on the wrong track" and so they vote to keep Obama to have more of the same. More: this same 52 to 53% also believe the failures of the past 4 years are "Bush's fault" keeping us on the wrong track. Brilliant! Welcome to the new America. Regards, Ed

I know three small buisness owners that have been saying,

"The way the FEDs are increasing the paper work I have do to, the cost increases of tha paperwork! I am giving it till the election. If this clown gets re-elected I am going to have to close up shop!"

If they are true to word and they always have been with me. We are going to miss them!

If they reflect the feelings of their peers, The unemployement figures are about to show a jump.

    Big Az Al,
You know of three, I know this first hand also, small business owner myself. Taxes, insurance, regulations, mandates, licensing, all increasing. While every quarter I see work volume decreasing. This due in part by people unsure of their future, unemployment, gas prices, we all understand. Keep an eye on how many Dr.'s in the 50 yr old and over group close practice when the new healthcare burden is imposed on us. The small business in this country simply cannot survive as we are. When every hometown USA loses 4,5 maybe 6 small business a yr, how will this bring unemployment down?

My business has went downhill for the last 3&1/2 yrs. I am cutting back to 2 days /week to cut overhead. Glad I am 62 and getting SS.

BHO wants to create jobs, Police, firefighters, teachers and Union workers to rebuild the US infrastructure. These are all jobs that get paid with taxpayers money. If there are less or no private sector jobs where is all that money supposed to come from. We can't borrow ourselves out of debt.

Thatcher quote. "the Problem with socialism is you will eventually you will run out of other people money."

Yes, you can start your SS at 62.

You get about 500 a month more if you wait until full retirement age which is now 66 and is you wait until you are 70, you can get another 500 a month.

Your monthly "benefit" depends on your best 10 years earning history during your working lifetime.

You get 25% less at 62 than you would if you waited till 66. SS may not be here in 4 yrs. or I may not be alive.

How long would it take to make up the 48 checks less the 25& I will get by waiting 4 yrs?

It's best (IMO) to take SS at 62 yrs...only the receiver can really make that determination...depends on the anticipated lifespan, health, monetary needs, etc.

As I planned properly in fiscal matters, I did not "need" my SS, so it pays for my shooting, hunting, fishing and general debauchery...the rest of it, I just waste!

You may not make it to 66 yrs.

You are less likely to live to 70 yrs.

Also, most people do not have much real quality of life after 70 (actually much less but will not admit it)

    Curt...
