I have an aluminum trigger that I want to touch up. I've tried Birchwood Caseys alumnim black but am not satisfied with the look. Has anyone tried something different?
    Thanks, Alan

If you can warm the metal it will take the black better. Hair dryer, propane torch? Just a suggestion, it still may not be the look you want. Good luck.

I would have it re-anodized. Shouldn't cost too much for just a trigger guard, and it'll look brand new.

I use the black auto touch up paint that I have for my car.

I have used dead flat black spray enamel. It looks good and holds up reasonably well. Cheap and easy to replace when it does wear off.
