Had some good reports on the Franchi, Dicks Diamond o/u. Did some more research
and found out the receiver is alloy not milled steel. Will this hold up to alot of shooting ? My Beretta AL 391 Urika is alloy no problems.I have never
heard of an o/u with an aluminium alloy receiver. Should I just spend the extra 1000$ and by a Browning ?

Shop around. You can probably find a new Citori for $1300, maybe a bit less. Years from now, when the Franchi is junk, the Browning will still be a good gun and worth maybe more than you paid.

At least the Citori will also shoot where you are looking and pointing. I've patterned a half dozen Franchi this last year. I couldn't make a sound bet on any of them, where they were going to place the pattern.
