My #34 Mec bushing dropped 29 grains of Pro Reach for a 12 ga, 1 1/4 oz load. It is interesting to note that Pro Reach can also be used for 28 ga loads. My Mec #20 bushing dropped 17 grains for a 28 ga load. I like it better than Longshot. I think that it kicks less than Longshot. I like it a lot.

My plan is 28 grains, 12S4 wad, 1 1/4 oz #6 or #7, in an Active Hull

Lou, are you going to be at 1300-1350 fps. with that load? I'm very interested in the results of that load with #6 shot. Getting low on Herco. Thanks, Wayne

    luckyshot,

I think they have load data for a 1 and 1/8 ounce load in a AA hull that runs over 1500 fps.

Do not rely on this, but I thought it was about 35 grains of the Pro Reach. I can't remember for sure. It is in their reloading guide, (the book/pamphlet version) not the online reloading guide.

The 1 1/8 oz Pro Reach load is listed for a Federal Gold Medal plastic hull in the Alliant reloader's guide.

Lou, have you had a chance to try the Pro Reach yet? How consistent are the powder drops, etc?
