It is a dark-colored small flake powder made by Alliant. I just bought some to try in my 20 gauge. It was designed for reloading 20 and 28 gauge shells. Alliant has loading data for it on their website. There may applications coming for 12 gauge, but testing would have to done first. So far I have not come across any data for any use other than 20 or 28 gauge reloading.

I got 3 lbs and have only loaded 5 shells to try the load. In a 20 it is less bulky and I had a 1oz shot load to get a good crimp. Shot a little hard but burned very clean. I will do some more loading and try different things. Will post what i find. I dont load 28s. so someone will have to post that load rick

Winchester Super Field works great in the twenty and is less expensive. HMB

Bulkier than HS-6 in the 28 ga and helps fill up the longer gold Nitro 28 ga hulls. I used a #16 bushing of 20/28 vs a 13A with my usual load of HS-6. Seemed to work OK.

I haven't found anything better in the 20 ga that what Winchester uses: WSF.

I use Unique in my 20 ga and save the more expensive 20/28 for my 28 ga loads. It really shines in the 28 ga!

    Sounds like high-priced Unique.
