Representative West continues to be a true American HERO! The leftwing media (which is ALL of the "main stream" media) and the race hustler "ministers" say that if you are against Obama it is because he is black. I don't know one person who is against Obama who would not be proud to vote for Colonel West. so the "racism BS is just that - BS.

Obama hates this country and has said so in jusr so many words - look it up!. THAT is why he is so despised by patriotic Americans of all colors.

As of this morning the Congressional Progressive Caucus website lists 76 members. As individuals and as members of the largest political caucus in Congress, members of the Progressive Caucus believe in government control of the people instead of people in control of the government.

As sitting members of Congress some have participated in fund raisers for communist organizations. Some may in fact be communists. The rest are socialists and make no bones about it.

If Representative West had been asked about the number of socialists in Congress (instead of how many communists), 76 would be inaccurate on the low side. That number doesn't include Pelosi - a staunch socialist and former member of the caucus. With the exception of Bernie Sanders**, seventy-six also ignores socialist members of the U.S. Senate.

How many members of Congress are communists? I don't know. How many are socialists? Well... at least 77 of the House democrats (40% of them) are known socialists. It's harder to say about the Senate. They don't have a "socialists only" club of their own.

    sissy

As an aside, I am aware of three members of the House that immediately and very publically 'convicted' George Zimmerman of racial profiling and murder in speeches on the floor of the House and elsewhere. Listed alphabetically they include Hank Johnson (D, GA), Bobby Rush (D, IL), and Frederica Wilson (D, FL). Not surprisingly, all three are members of the Progressive Caucus.

** Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont is a self described socialist. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Sanders was one of the original founders of the Progressive Caucus in 1991.

On another thread Joe Goldberg posted the following...

"I'm so disappointed with the Democratic party. What happened to the party of the working class? The buy American Union Party? The party of Civil Rights (For All Americans)? The Once most Patriotic Party is gone."

Well Joe, the party of the working class is now the party of the won't work class. The buy American Union Party has been bought by American unions. The party of civil rights is now the party of "I have the right to free stuff. Tax them rich folks and redistribute their income to me."

Recoilsissy, you are absolutely correct but the problem is that older (Over)72 still see the Democratic party as they once were and they do not take the time to investigate the candidates. Mike.

You are right Bulge. My parents were farmers, now in their 80's. But they are still 1960's Democrats. Their siblings think the same way.

Sissy I agree the purpose of my post was just that the party has changed but it still holds on to a lot of voters who if they were really informed and cared would be running for the hills.

Time for the new Democratic party! Are there any conservative Southern
    Democrats left to start it.

My old man was a union guy, and voted Democratic his whole life, BUT, when questioned issue by issue, he was as conservative as I am, and I am somewhat to the right of Attila the Hun!

Why not grow the Tea Party and put both the Democrat and Republican parties out of business.
