1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

How old do you suppose this piece of wood is? Is a live tree cut down? ~ Kim Z.

It will probably cost around $2 for every year old it is. Good wood is like a good woman, hard to find and not cheap when you do. Larry

Only a stock maker truly understands the thrill and anticipation of carving a highly figured and beautiful piece of God's own creation. It's very gratifying to have played a small part of something that's truly awesome looking when completed. Ronnie posted some pictures of a stock he just finished up with that is jaw dropping. It will be my pleasure to make some sawdust out of one of your blanks. Larry

Do you ever get any that is 3 3/4" thick. I make custom stocks, mostly for myself and I need one that thick because I have a cheek piece with a lot of cast off. Thanks for your reply.

I can get any size you want. Most of these are 2.65 to 2.75. Let me know what type of figure you're looking for and I'll PM you some pics

    Thanks for looking

Unfortunately I don't, I leave that up to the professionals. However I can recommend The "Gunfitter" on the East coast and Larry from
http://www.corkelarms.com in the Midwest. I will send you a PM when I get them in.

    Thanks

    Doug
