ALEXANDRIA INDIANA REGISTERED SHOOT 'SPRING CLASSIC' June 4, 2011 (1st day of 2)

We had a great day with temperatures starting off in the 70's and ending in the low 90's. While the sunny weather was welcomed instead of 'liquid sunshine' the humidity was definately a factor. The wind was not a factor as only a slight breeze was the normal. We setup four traps on doubles and completed the event and shootoffs before the rain came in the evening.

Nineteen of our forty one singles shooters broke scores of 190 x 200 or better. Four 100 straights were broken in the first hundred of the CTC and two 100 straights in the second 100 along with a lone 200 x 200 by Kenneth Heathcoate. This was Kenny's first 200 x 200 and he sure made himself proud with an excellent score.

Ryan Clark broke his first 100 x 100 in the second 100 of the CTC event.

Ronald L Wolfe broke his first 50 x 50 in the first 100 of the CTC event. This was Ron's first registered 50 since coming back after many years away from the sport.

Nine of our twenty eight doubles shooters shot scores of 90 or better.

The food was great thanks to Mary and Jane. Thanks go to everyone who came out to our shoot.
